Quilted this week

This week I finished a quilt for a client, she will be giving it to her 3 year old grandson. It was a super scrappy quilt and I did a water, wave pattern over all of it. It was fast and fun!

This week I am working on a baby signature quilt for a client, once it is loaded I will update the machine picture. It is a sweet quilt and I am looking forward to spending the week with it.

Innovations

I had such a productive, fabulous time at Innovations! Here are some the favorites I saw at the quilt show....
The following were all from a 12 month calendar themed quilt. It was a teacher quilt and she used the quilt to demonstrate all the different background filler patterns that could be used.

The border are hearts, the sky is all swirly....

The quilting creates beautiful clouds....and the road in made out of quilted pebbles...
his This quilt is pattern out of the same book I used for my auction quilt last year...

This was my favorite quilt in the show, such an amazing blend of traditional and contemporary.

I also love the artistic, landscape quilts....

And the new patterns I learned from class.....

What a great convention! Last year I went and only looked at and tried the machines. It was nice to go this year as an owner of a machine and focus my time on learning new skills.

Construction Quilt

Used the Towing Trucks pantograph on this quilt. It worked well with the Construction theme. This was a quilt my mother pieced for my son Graham. It will go on his bed, if he will leave it there. It is 65x85 and has a polyester batting so it puffs up really nice and it will be warm to sleep under. The back, which I neglected to photograph, but will when it comes home, is a road panel. So Graham can 'play' with his quilt. :)

On to another quilt! This one was fun!
