Prep Work

I must admit, I secretly LOVE the process of unloading a quilt, cleaning the table and getting ready for the next quilt. I oil the machine, clean the top, and dust all of the rails. It is so cathartic and let's me say goodbye to one quilt and hello to another. It is the quintessential transition step. And I love it. Happily prepping my machine for the next masterpiece.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my quilting blog! With this blog I will keep you updated on what I am working on in my quilting life.

I have been quilting for seven years and longarm quilting for the past year. I quilt on the greatest longarm machine in the business, an A1! It is the lightest, most graceful machine I tried. I feel so lucky and fortunate that I found my passion in life at such a young age. Quilting is my retreat and allows me to express my creativity.

On the right you will see what is on the machine, the design wall is what will be quilted next and the slide show has my completed quilts.

I hope you enjoy your visit and come back often!
